Thanks for your publication on this website. From my own personal experience, occasionally softening upward a photograph may well provide the professional photographer with a bit of an artsy flare. Many times however, the soft blur isn't precisely what you had planned and can usually spoil a normally good image, especially if you consider enlarging that.
