This 7-day tour to the cold desert for families is an opportunity to explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Skardu and its surrounding areas. Starting from Islamabad, you will drive on the Hazara Motorway and the Karakoram Highway, with several photo stops along the way to capture the scenic views.

In Chilas, you will stay overnight and enjoy a delicious dinner before continuing your journey to Skardu. On the way, you will visit the Tata Pani hot spring, Thalichi viewpoint for Nanga Parbat, and the meeting point of Hindukush, Himalaya, and Karakoram mountain ranges. You will also pass by the meeting point of Indus and Gilgit rivers before reaching Skardu, where you will transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Over the next few days, you will explore the region’s natural wonders. You will visit Khamush and Manthoka waterfalls, and the beautiful Khaplu valley. There will also be an optional tour to Deosai, which can be arranged for an extra payment for a 4×4 vehicle. You will also visit the Shigar valley, Safaranga desert, and Sadpara Lake, where you can enjoy the serene surroundings and capture unforgettable memories.

On the last day of the tour, you will drive back to Chilas and stay overnight before returning to Islamabad on the final day. Please note that the tour package does not include entrance fees at sites, forts, and museums, lunch, jeeps, personal insurance of participants and their luggage, extra expenses due to landslides, roadblocks, acts of nature, political reasons, etc.
