I have noticed that in cameras, extraordinary detectors help to {focus|concentrate|maintain focus|target|a**** automatically. These sensors involving some surveillance cameras change in contrast, while others work with a beam with infra-red (IR) light, especially in low lighting. Higher spec cameras often use a mixture of both devices and may have Face Priority AF where the photographic camera can 'See' some sort of face and focus only upon that.
